DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA Code Annotated § 38-102 mandates that a notarized Notice Of Mechanic’s Lien must be sent by registered mail or personal service to the Owner or the owner’s agent no later than ninety (90) days upon completion of your furnishing labor or materials for a private Commercial project. A copy of the Notice of Mechanic’s Lien shall be filed at the office of the DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA Recorder Of Deeds.
